TIMESINDONESIA – Kampung Bunga Grangsil, that is located in Jambangan Village, Dampit sub-district, Malang, is the best tourist attraction that is suitable for anyone who loves flowers and plants. This tourist attraction was officially announced by the Regent of Malang, Drs. HM Sanusi MM during the event of Gema Desa in Dampit on Tuesday (27/8/2019).
The visitors should use two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles to reach this place.The location is 20 kilometer from Kepanjen. It can be reached by car or motorcycle.When you arrive at the main gate to Dampit, you will find a sign that shows the road to left, leading to Jambangan Village. From this point, it will take around 30 minutes to Kampung Bunga Grangsil. On the way to the village, the visitors can enjoy the vast, beautiful green fields. However, the road is not in a very good condition, bumpy, and steep. But then, when you reach the destination, you will find a vast landscape of colorful flowers.
The Head of the Village, Eko Wahyu Widodo, said that Kampung Bunga Grangsil could be one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Malang in the near future. He explained that most of the locals in this village plant are cultivating flowers to sell. In a week, all of the farmers could send two trucks of flowers to sell. “The flowers are sent to Malang and some regions in East Java,” he said. “This place is the biggest flower supplier. Most of the flowers in Malang are from this place.” He said.
